Masked Identity Design Discussion

There is a pretty, girly side to me. But there is also a dark side to me - a fascination with all things creepy. That is where this idea spawned from.
I wanted to create a mask reminiscent of those worn during Plague times by Poveglia Island doctors. When Plague victims were brought to the island this was the last image they would see - a creepy bird mask hovering over them, waiting for them to die. This part suits my fascination with the dead and creepy.
I also wanted to make tiny pieces so I went with ones that reminded me of a chandelier. This would be my girly side because when I think of being girly and dressed up and beautiful, I also think of chandeliers.
